The method is widely used internationally. This method is best applicable with pipe diameters over 1000mm and drilling distances 30-120 meters.<\/p>\n<h3>Good planning leeds to best results<\/h3>\n<p>When planning infrastructures, it is very important to start cooperation at the earliest possible stage. Then we can efficiently plan and decide what is the best and most cost-effective solution to meet customer\u2019s needs. Especially if the soil is sand or clay and large penetrations are required, horizontal auger boring is one of the best methods. Infra designers and engineers should be contacted already at the planning stage in order to find the best solution for the project.<\/p>\n<h3>Best application and selection criteria<\/h3>\n<p>uger boring it is possible to solve situations where big pipes need to be penetrated to sand-, silt- or clay soil. The method is most useful in sewage and rainwater drains, pressure drains, drums, water pipes and gas pipes. The material used in those pipes is protective steel casing pipe.
